The Founders

Xceed Preparatory Academy was founded by Brent Goldman, Ed.D., and Richard Goldman, Ed.D., nationally recognized leaders in private education with decades of experience shaping innovative academic programs in South Florida and beyond.

Dr. Richard Goldman served as Dean of Graduate Education at Nova Southeastern University for more than 20 years, where he was a pioneer in distance learning and internet-based education. His leadership played a significant role in expanding access to higher education through flexible, technology-driven academic models—principles that remain foundational to Xceed’s approach today.

In 1996, the Goldmans co-founded The Sagemont School in Weston, Florida, growing it into a premier private institution serving more than 800 students. Under their leadership, Sagemont graduates were accepted to some of the nation’s most prestigious universities, including Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, and Vanderbilt. Their legacy of academic excellence, innovation, and student advocacy continues through Xceed Preparatory Academy.
